The 4000AE delivers the strength and durability of an all-steel trailer and the low weight benefit of an all-aluminum trailer.
47,000 lb Standard coil haul package
Designed with 3″ aluminum crossbars, that include nine 4″ full-width, tapered aluminum crossbars on 8″ centerlines to provide optimized strength at the coil.
3" and 4" Aluminum crossmembers
The 4000AE features our patented crossmembers system. A combination of 3″ and 4″ aluminum crossmembers replace steel to optimize weight without compromising strength or functionality.
Hat-shaped top flange
Attached to the extruded aluminum floor, the 80,000 psi high strength steel hat-shaped top flange provides additional lateral stability to the trailer.
Heavy-duty aluminum outrigger attachments
Three tube-shaped outriggers on each side of the flatbed connect to the aluminum crossmembers, which provide stability and help distribute the load to the main beams.
High-quality paint process
We shot blast the main beams to bare metal before painting and then coat them with a two-part primer and two-part urethane top coat on the exterior surfaces. A rust preventative coating is applied to the interior surfaces of the beams for lower maintenance cost.
The 4000AE Drop Deck has a 73,000 lb Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, weighs less than some all-aluminum trailers, and is available at a combo-trailer price. Using the same patent-pending crossmember system as the 4000AE combo flatbed, the 4000AE Drop Deck consists of a combination of 3″ and 4″ aluminum crossmembers.
The 4000AE comes standard with a 47,000 lb coil haul package, yet weighs less than some all-aluminum trailers. It optimizes weight without a sacrifice to strength. Utility 4000AE can also be custom built with a variety of options to meet your operational requirements.
